The liver is located in the upper quadrant of the abdomen on the right side, it is the biggest solid organ in the human body. We can’t live without it due to the essential functions it has. It is very important to identify the signs that the body sends if our liver is damaged.

  • UNEXPLAINED FATIGUE

If you have a constant need for rest that means that your body is full of toxins and the liver isn’t able to eliminate them. This sign is an evident one and it shouldn’t be ignored.

  • LOSS OF APPETITE

Due to improperly digested food and lack of bile in the stomach, there is a loss of appetite. It can even lead to extreme weight loss.

  • UPSET STOMACH

Vomiting and nausea are common symptoms for many illnesses but if you have them for a longer period of time it might mean that your liver is damaged and it can’t eliminate the toxins.

Bloating, pain or cramping in the abdomen can be an indication of liver damage.

Fluid retention can be a sign of hormonal imbalance, heart failure, lymphatic disease, kidney issues but also a sign of damaged liver.
